For Android:

1. Launch "Chrome" app.

2. Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.

3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right- hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.

4. You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

For IOS:

1. Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Navigate to the site that you want to create a Home screen shortcut to.

3. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.

4. Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. (If you don't see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you'll be able to select it from the Share Sheet.)

5. Type a name for your site link. This will be the title that appears beneath its icon on your Home screen.

6. Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.

I’m Ian Donaldson, a Financial Advisor based in Helderkruin, Roodepoort, Gauteng, with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. My journey began in 1990 on the administrative and broker consultancy side, where I gained deep insights into financial processes and strategy. In 2001, I transitioned into personal financial advising to become a single, trusted guide overseeing every aspect of my clients’ financial well-being. My practice is built on referrals and long-term relationships, serving clients across South Africa. I specialize in comprehensive financial services including life cover, retirement and investment planning, medical aid and gap cover, short-term insurance, and estate planning. I take pride in supporting multiple generations within families—watching clients’ children become clients themselves is one of the greatest rewards of this work. At the heart of my service is a commitment to honesty, integrity, fairness, and practical, forward-thinking advice. Financial planning is more than just numbers—it's about understanding people, their aspirations, and guiding them toward lasting financial stability tailored to their unique circumstances. My wife, Charmainé, is central to this journey, managing the admin side of operations with empathy and precision so clients always receive attentive, reliable service. Balancing work and family is important to me. I conduct annual in-person reviews with each client and often combine business road trips with family time, reinforcing the values that drive my work both professionally and personally.
